Slimming Body Wrap

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz glass spray bottle
  • 40 drops Slim & Sassy Metabolic Blend
  • 15 drops Eucalyptus essential oil
  • 15 drops Wintergreen essential oil
  • 10 drops Peppermint essential oil
  • 10 drops Lavender essential oil
  • 10 drops Grapefruit essential oil
  • 5 drops Cypress essential oil
  • Fractionated Coconut Oil

Directions:

  1. Combine the essential oils in spray bottle.
  2. Fill to the top with fractionated coconut oil.
  3. Take your measurements prior to wrapping.
  4. Spray the wrap blend onto the area(s) of concern.
  5. Spray enough of the essential oil blend to cover the area(s) you are targeting, allowing it to soak in (you can also rub it in to help).
  6. Use strips of thin fabric (such as muslin or an old sheet) over the essential oils and then wrap with 3-4 layers of plastic/Saran wrap.
  7. Wear your wrap with comfortable sweat pants on for at least an hour or two-or if possible overnight.
  8. Be sure to drink lots of water before and especially after removing the wrap to flush out the toxins that will be released.  
  9. Increase your water intake for several days.
  10. You can also add lemon, lime and/or grapefruit essential oils to your drinking water for additional health and cleansing benefits.
  11. Take your measurements again.
  12. Bonus--Your skin texture should be improved.

 

Alternate Recipe

This recipe is simple to make, and a great combination of ingredients to help you achieve your objectives!  When the cream is combined with a wrap, it becomes a very effective "detoxer", see the notes below for directions.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup shea butter (available at health food stores)
  • 30 drops Slim & Sassy Metabolic blend
  • 20 drops Lemon essential oil
  • 10 drops Lavender essential oil

Directions:

  1. In a microwave safe bowl combine coconut oil, olive oil, and shea butter, microwave until completely melted by heating 30 seconds at a time-stirring between each one.
  2. Bring mixture to room temperature by letting it sit on counter for 15-20 minutes, then place in refrigerator for about 15 minutes until it begins to set up.
  3. Remove from refrigerator and place in a bowl.  Add Metabolic Blend, Lavender, and Lemon essential oils, mix on high with a hand mixer until it is fluffy and smooth.
  4. Place contents in a jar with an airtight lid.  You can store your homemade body butter one of two ways depending on the consistency you prefer- if you like a firm lotion keep it in the refrigerator or a thicker liquid consistency it can be kept at room temperature for several months.

To Use:

  1. You can rub this on problem areas as a lotion or for even more fast acting effects use it in combination with a wrap - Rub a generous amount over problematic areas, stomach, waist, thighs. Wrap in muslin fabric, then tightly in plastic wrap- leave on for at least an hour.
  2. When doing a wrap- take a hot shower or bath beforehand to open up pores, drink lots of water before, during, and after wrap. These oils will also act as a detox to your body, purging out unhealthy chemicals.
